Just don’t. Trust me.

This place is an absolute dump. The whole building has humidity issues so you have to leave the air on 60 degrees and still the walls sweat and the floor is slippery with condensation. The rooms are so wet, even the pillows are moldy. My sister and her husband had to put their phones in rice because the moisture was making them malfunction. The elevator was haunted and stopped on random floors. Phones in the rooms didn’t work and the remotes had the batteries taped in on the back. Doors didn’t shut. Maids were so loud and rowdy that you couldn’t nap. And the room stank so bad of mold that we were coughing the whole trip. Don’t stay here unless you want a respiratory infection. It was disgusting. Pam was nice though.

I liked absolutely nothing about this place. Sketchy area and we were told not to even cross the street. Hotel was unsecured and we didn’t need to even use a key to get in. And we were told they had Security. I didn’t even feel safe going to get ice by myself. Remote didn’t work. TV didn’t have good reception and not all channels even worked. No microwave. Crappy coffeemaker. Toilet ran. Musty smelling and needs updating. Adjoining room doors had a huge gap on the floor so you could hear way too much. We could have gotten a better rate by with a hotel by Opryland but this place wanted to charge us one nights stay to cancel. And the pool is basically in the parking lot.

top notch staff

we spent three nights in this hotel during our trip to nashville. i asked for a smoking room and got one! this is amazing since hotels often give those rooms if you can find one before i can get there. the receptionist, michelle, was warm and welcoming to us after we just spent many hours on the road. my room was clean and neat. i did not hate to put my head on the pillow. someone at the front desk help us in solving the mystery of the shower which had to have the bottom pipe adjusted so it would work. our housekeeper, diana, was close to perfect. she left all the extras which i asked for and made up our room after a day of touring. i am very happy with our trip to the red roof in music city.

This is an old, tired place and they need to revitalize it.

This place has been here a long time and they have upgraded only some of the things in the room. Looks like the flooring has been changed (Good). The bath was okay except for the door falling apart. (The wood lamination is coming apart and splitting with pieces missing on both sides of the door) They have 3 new lamp shades in the room...At least I think they are new because they still have the plastic on them WITH the barcodes and another label!! The room as a whole just is not appealing. We had a room with a fridge that was in a cabinet with a door, but the door cannot close with fridge in it. If they took the door off it would look a lot better.

Wouldn't recommend

This property was ok but not in the best area. Not a good idea to go out and walk around. There were also some undesirables inside the hotel who were doing unmentionable things in the hallway outside our room at 3am in the morning which was rather unnerving. Breakfast not great, wifi very slow. Staff were helpful and this property has a laundry which we needed. Overall, not great, even for a budget hotel.
