Worst hotel ever. I don’t know how it has so many good reviews.
March 08, 2019

My husband and I have stayed in many hotels in our lives. Cheap hotels, small hotels, small rooms, far from the city, etc. Every hotel has its charm and we are not picky at all because normally we use it just to sleep when we visit a new city but this hotel is just DISGUSTING, DIRTY, OLD, SMELLY. Please do not stay there. As soon as we entered, the smell of the “non-smoking” room was horrible. It smelled like smoke with something to cover the smell and please don’t tell me that is a product you use to clean your rooms because I was a smoker once. The smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag (so people can smoke without triggering the alarm). Bed sheets have burns and on the top were stained (yellow and grease or oil). The mattress protector had yellow stains (like fluids). Pillow covers have different stains (black and yellow). There was a magazine on the table but someone ate on the top of that magazine and had pieces of dried food. Bathroom had hairs and looks filthy. It was the first time we took our stuff, and after a lot of thinking, we decided not to stay there. The lady at the front desk didn’t help in anything. First she said they didn’t have a room, then she said she will call the manager, then she said that she can not give us the manager contact as per rules and lastly, that she can NOT REIMBURSE our money. Then, she wanted to offer a room, after she saw my husband angry but we just wanted to go out of that place. I don’t think that we will never stay in a Red Roof hotel and if someone mention that name, definitely I will say: “don’t even think about staying there”. Not only the lady at the “check-out” didn’t help. The lady at the check-in was so unkind. I greeted 3 times and she never answered. We checked in today Friday, March 8 2019 afternoon and we check out today Friday, March 8 2019 evening and we were charged for today and hopefully they will not charge tomorrow, as we had a reservation for two days but there is no way to stay there one more minute. Of course, we are going to talk to whom else is needed to get our money back. We didn’t want to start a fight there at the lobby. We were tired from our trip. At the end the manager never appeared and nobody helped. Sad and shame on them.

Will never stay again!!

Bad experience overall. The check- in took forever, as a Red Roof member it was the worst ever!! Reserved the room for three nights, returned the next afternoon and could not unlock door, went to front desk and was told (in a very rude manner to get our stuff out) we only had the room for one night. Went thru the same slow registration again for two additional nights. Returned the next afternoon and again was locked out, no reason given. The room was not clean, dust and dirt in corners. The towels were hard and rough as sand paper. The breakfast was less than minimal.

Need renovation

We stayed here for two nights in the Dallas trip. This inn is old and need a face lift. The toilet light is not functioning and the carpet shows sign of age. No housekeeping service were provided for our stay. The breakfast for toast, waffle and fruit. I would suggest to add some proteins such as egg for breakfast selections.

Our room attendant never cleaned our room during a 4 night stay
December 14, 2018

This hotel is cheap, so I wasn't expecting much. I went to Dallas for a job interview and I wanted to be in a hotel that was near a good amount of places to eat/shop at and this pretty much hit the mark. What was most disturbing however is that the room attendant never cleaned our room during a 4 night trip. We didn't pack any spare towels so everything was unhygienic, which is a shame. I get that it's cheap but c'mon you need to at least clean the rooms and change out towels/bedsheets, I left no tip because it was disgusting.

Could have been better!

Checked in by bobby and his customer service was excellent! Unfortunately, I can't say the same thing about the room and our overall stay. Carpet was dirty and had hard stains. There was a big hole for tissue box near the sink but no tissues! It turns out that they only gave out 1 small pocket size tissue pack. This is an extremely stingy attitude from the owner because hotel nightly price is not cheap. Where is all the savings going? If that is how they are working then why tissue box hole on the wall is not covered and giving false impression to the guests? Breakfast time is also only from 6:30 - 9:30 Am. Should be at least till 10 Am to accommodate late risers. Our room was missing "Do not disturb" sign, so every day early in the morning we were woke up by room service. One day we told her to come back later which she did, but we were still not ready. She told us by herself to not worry and that she will stop by again later. We came back in the evening and unfortunately room was not serviced! There is no elevator in this hotel either. With room service improvement and guest convenient this hotel can do much better.
