Disgustingly dirty, Unclean

This property is utterly filthy, from the front lobby to the elevator to the guest room. We have stayed at this property before. It has a couple advantages which made us want to stay here. 1) It is just outside the north DFW airport entrance. 2) They offer free shuttle service to and from the airport. 3) They allow one to leave a vehicle here for days when one takes a trip outa town, and only charge maybe $5.00 per day. 4) Price is very reasonable. Before leaving the lobby it was apparent the rugs at check in were dirty and needed vacuuming. After checking in on 1/20/2018 my wife and I proceeded to our room. Upon entering the elevator we noticed that someone had spilled a liquid on the carpet and it had obviously not been cleaned in some time. As we entered the room my wife stated that she could not stay there. Looking at the bedspread, it had a large stain on the bed cover. I'm not talking a quarter size, I'm talking large. It is understandable that liquids are spilled and coverings get stained, but either clean it or - if it doesn't clean, replace it. We decided that the place was just too dirty for us to sleep comfortably and went back to the front desk. I told the front desk clerk we wanted a refund that we were leaving. This was difficult as it was already late evening and we were ready for bed. The front desk clerk informed me that he didn't have the authority to refund my money; that I would have to speak with the front desk manager next morning. He comes in at 7a.m. I informed him that we were leaving for the airport on the 5:30 shuttle. With no resolution we departed for another hotel. Sadly, this property has declined and is in need of a deep cleaning.

This hotel is clean and is a goid price for this area. The staff is friendly and the rooms are in a good clean and all maintenance is done. I would highly recommend this place for short or long term stay.

We booked a room here and paid for parking on 12-23-2017 to catch a fight out for 4 days. After we checked in we were told where we had to park. Well there was on place on location to park. I went back to ask them what I was suppose to do. I was then told to go park at denny's next door or at another hotel and walk back to my room. Well I paid for a parking spot on their grounds not a quarter away. So I went next door to park but before I just left my car I went in and talked to Eddie the general manager, he was very upset that I was being charge $20 to park in his lot. He told me I was more than welcome to leave my car there but I need to get my money back because red roof can't charge me for parking at denny's. So beware of paying for parking and being told to park somewhere else. The room we were in was fair I guess, there was black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. It was a place to sleep before we took the shuttle ( which was a beat up van with low pressure tire light on and some other warning lights on) to the airport. I probably won't stay here again. So others just beware if you are told to park at another facility.

To Whom It May Concern: We reserved a room at your Dallas-Ft Worth Red Roof Airport property and arrived late 12.23.2017. Our reservation was made thru Orbitz Intinery #7316504591008 under Baker. Upon check-in to this reserved room it was noticed there was only one (1) towel in the room. I went to the main bldg office and they only had 2 towels available to bring back? When we used the bathroom later we heard an usual exhaust fan noise and noticed the fan fixture on the ceiling was rigged up with a wire tie and plastic knife??? have never witnessed such a sight...... Next, I setup my tablet on the desk table and went to turn on the desk wall lamp. It wouldn't come on and discovered there was not even a light bulb in the fixture. Additionally, we discovered the hair dryer in the sink area was inoperable. We have attached pictures of these room deficiencies for your record and your Property Maintenance Repair Log. As a former hotel property developer and owner, it is quite apparent that Management has negligented these guest rooms. Hopefully our Room #251 is an isolated case, but one has to wonder.... We also reached out to the Property Manager Terry Dale about these concerns but have not heard anything back. Brett

Oasis in a stressful time.

The staff at this Inn are friendly, efficient and helpful. I was trying to get a home and I was getting a lot of we don't have any apartments available till January or February. The staff made my day less stressful and made my stay more bearable to help me cope with the frustrating, stressful day of apartment search.
