The room was really nice and clean. The customer service was really helpful and polite. The location was really easy to get to and a really safe place to stay at. Would recommend staying here if your in the round rock/ Austin area.

Overwhelming Smoke Smell!

Unbelievable OLD CIGARETTE SMOKE smell on the 3rd floor! It's horrible! Inside the room wasn't as bad. A/C unit doesn't work right so you either turn it on and freeze to death or turn it off and stay warm. Housekeeping replaced our towels and emptied the trash but bed was left unmade. Isn't making the bed standard? I travels slot and even the dumpiest places made the bed daily! We won't choose RRI again!

Can I rate this a 0?.....cigarette,marijuana,inappropriate items in hall

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had traveling. The hotel staff I have no problem with and did a good job. The class of people that this hotel attracts is ridiculous. Always people standing outside smoking in front of the entrance. Used condom in the hallway where everyone can see. Strong smell of marijuana in hallway while walking to our room. Elevator and hallways stink like smoke. Only given one towel on day one and room not cleaned on day two. If your looking for a deal and book this hotel because of the rating do you self a favor and cancel. If your a family with children please DONT stay here.

Great customer service!

Kash at the front desk was awesome. I stayed longer than expected and he gave me a cheaper deal for the room! So sweet!! The rooms were nice and clean, came to check if I needed any towels or anything without bothering me and didn’t pop up right at check out to get me out!

Adventures in customer NO service have become so commonplace nowadays, I’m simply accustomed to and have disappointingly grown to expect bad service. The value in this however is that it serves as a nice buffer in preventing frustration with the ever expanding blasé attitudes towards customers adorned by service staff of various ilk, and their nonchalance and lack of urgency to meet and exceed the myriad wants, needs, and expectations of a businesses heart and soul: its clientele. Whether I’m sitting at a table in a restaurant for several minutes before I’m begrudgingly greeted by a server, dealing with customer service rep after service rep when calling in to have a situation remedied only to be met with scripted replies forcing me to ask for someone else or a supervisor with whom I painstakingly go every detail once again leading to the same dead end, or walking into a shop or hotel and instead of welcomed with warmth, courteousness, and a smile, I’m made to feel as though I’m a burden if I have a question about something mundane or I’m judged with pretension because I’m asking about some of the more cost efficient items, services, or accommodations. I’ve learned that lowering my expectations opens the door for those rare encounters with people who not only care and want my patronage, they do whatever necessary to make certain that I do in fact return, and they do so seamlessly and effortlessly, all the while wearing smiles on their faces and with sincerity in their voices. One of these precious elusive gems is the Red Roof Inn in Round Round Texas. You heard me correctly. Home - for maybe a day or two I think - of the infamous Pflugerville bomber, and the background for a segment or two of Live PD, featuring Williamson County’s finest. This rough around the edges, most affordable Round Rock hotel, shines brighter than any of the areas’ homes away from homes. What keeps this constellation so brilliantly illuminated? Why the staff of course. Not once in my 30 plus nights has any request been met with deaf ears, deference, or a bad attitude. Problem solvers and solution finders are exactly what these customer service giants are. The fearless leader, at least the one who isn’t behind the scenes, is the smooth dressing, lasagna baking, New Zealender named Kash. Unflappable yet kind. Driven but conscientious. He wants to know your story, but you should ask him his, it’s likely far more interesting. Head house keeper Connie is a get stuff done gal who pinches my baby’s cheeks every day and makes her smile that melt your heart smile babies have a knack for. Her crew busts their humps daily to keep an older structure from feeling and looking as such. And of course, they all do it with a pleasant deportment, an Hola, a buenos dias, etc., etc. The rest of the front desk crew are equally jovial, entertaining, and just genuinely good people. The serious Panth, often the overnight guy, may intimidate at first, but is really just an intellectual with great business acumen who is genuinely interested in people. Misty and Dammit I’ve Forgotten His Name, round out the most affable and customer pleasing staff of ANY COMPANY ever providing me with a service. Sure there’s no chocolates on your pillow and few amenities serve as accoutrements, but who folds their toilet paper in triangles at their homes anyway?
