Vulcan Park
Visit Vulcan Park to see the largest cast iron statue in the world. This 56-foot-tall statue depicts the Roman god Vulcan, the god of fire and forge. It’s made of 100,000 pounds of iron and stands on top of the Red Mountain overlooking Birmingham. After checking out the statue, take in the views of the city, enjoy the grassy fields, bike along the trail, or head inside to check out the interactive history museum.
