Red Roof is a pet-friendly brand with hotels where pets stay free. Red Roof Inn and Red Roof PLUS+ locations* welcome two well-behaved domestic pets (i.e., cat or dog, not to exceed 80 pounds per pet) per guestroom. The first pet stays free of charge. There is a $15 per night charge for the second pet. At management discretion, additional pets are permitted for an additional $15 charge per pet per night. The fee for additional pets may not exceed $105 per pet for guests staying 7+ nights. Red Roof’s Pet Policy
Red Roof provides dog stay free hotels, which welcomes pets and requires our guests traveling with pets to follow these rules for the safety and comfort of other guests and hotel staff.
- Guests MUST declare their pet(s) at check-in. If you forget to do so, please inform the Property staff as soon as possible. This is for the safety of your pet(s) and all our guests.
- If a pet(s) causes damage to the Property, the Property manager is permitted to charge the guest for the damage caused by the pet.
- Guests may not leave a pet unattended in a guestroom. Should an emergency arise, and a pet(s) is/are left unattended in a guestroom, the guest must contact the front desk to notify Property staff that the pet will be left alone in the guestroom and provide their contact information. If a pet(s) is disturbing other guests/staff or causing damage, then it/they cannot be left alone and must remain in the guest's control.
- When outside the guestroom, pet(s) must be on a leash or in a carrier at all times.
- No pets are allowed in any dinette, restaurant space or wherever food may be prepared, stored or served, nor in the fitness center, pool area or laundry facility.
- Property staff cannot clean guestrooms while the pet(s) is/are present. Guest should arrange with Property staff to schedule times for guestroom cleaning while the pet(s) is/are not in the guestroom.
- Guests are required to clean up after their pet(s) (inside or outside) and keep the pet(s) within their control at all times.
- If a pet(s) is deemed dangerous, harmful, or disruptive, management has sole discretion to request that the guest remove the pet(s) or to request that the guest find other accommodations. The Property staff may also contact animal control to have a pet(s) removed.
Due to state laws, ordinances, or contract provisions, not all of our locations can accept pets. The following locations are not able to accept your pet, but service animals are always welcome: Red Roof PLUS+ Washington DC - Oxon Hill, MD #181, Red Roof Inn & Suites Philadelphia - Bellmawr, NJ #332. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Service Animals and Emotional Support Animals
Consistent with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act, it is Red Roof’s policy to not discriminate against any individual with a disability in the full and equal enjoyment of our goods, services, facilities, and accommodations. Service animals and Emotional Support Animals (“Assistance Animals”) that provide aid to affected individuals are welcome at all Red Roof Properties for no additional charge.
