Not bad
December 18, 2017

Decent place. Excellent desk/check in service. Clean. Problems were 1) smelly 2nd story hallway. It was pungent with cigarette/marijuana smoke 2) broken in-room phone 3) broken floor lamp. Even with, I'd stay here again. Nick at the front desk was fantastic and helped me find a particular destination I sought on the computer.

Could be better

Pros: cheap and good location Cons: outdated, poor breakfast, no frig in room My room was right by the outside door where everyone smoked so the smoke smell would sometimes to come into my room, had to put a towel down on the floor in front of the door to keep the smell out. No frig in room. Room showed lots of signs of needing TLC. Window didn't feel secure at all to outside. If you like cold cereal or toast for breakfast then you would like this. I ended up stopped for my breakfast somewhere else. But for the price compared to the other hotels and just a place to crash this fit the bill.

Average hotel

The hotel was fine for what we needed, but the non-smoking room definitely still smelled like smoke. Also, we were told breakfast was from 6-9am and we had an early flight so we went to get breakfast right at 6am but it wasn't ready yet. But they let us check-in early (for a $10 fee) and the location was within walking distance of food and shopping options, so those were the plus side.

Do not stay here

We arrived at 3 am or we would have left and found another hotel. There was mold in the heating system. Mold on the wall and in the bathroom fixtures. The continental breakfast was 2 types of cereal, toast, juice and soupy oatmeal. Thank goodness we had reservations elsewhere for the rest of our stay!

Comfortable and Allows Dogs
November 16, 2017

I’m a return visitor to this property. Rooms are clean and the staff is competent and very helpful. The breakfast is average. The water pressure for showering is great, beds are comfortable and the room locks have been recently upgraded. The location is very good, close to downtown and an easy drive to the outlets. They do allow pets, although I think the $10 per pet per night fee is pretty steep. It would be nice if they capped it at say $50 per visit. The wi-fi is free, but neither fast nor reliable. They have raised their prices steadily over the last few years, as have the other hotels in the downtown area. A good place to stay, particularly if you are traveling with more than a single pet, as many other properties don’t allow more than one pet and often have a size limit.
